In Software Centre search in All Applications for NVIVO.Click on the Start or search buttons and type Software Centre - Select it.The right to use the software ceases when the staff/student leaves the University of Waikato. The software can be installed on a main University Owned device, and a second portable (UoW or personally owned) device for the exclusive use of the primary user of the main device. The rights to install an additional copy of the Software do not permit the use of the Software on both the first and second Device at the same time. If you need it installed on a personal device, you can contact ITS Service Desk on for activation of the Nvivo site licence, and do the same each year you need access. A licence is required to install this on personal devices, and the licence expires each year when the University licence expires. The University currently subscribes to Nvivo Pro with a site licence from February to February each year. ![]() ![]() After downloading NVivo on the appropriate device, it is necessary to contact ITS Service Desk on for activation of the Nvivo site licence. Staff and students working remotely are entitled to install a single copy of NVivo on a portable device or PC strictly for teaching and research related work for the University. The NVivo licence entitles you to install NVivo on any Waikato University owned machine, and is available on the Software Centre (PC) or the Self Service (Mac) of the University of Waikato computer.
